(Part of my series of exploring Japan)
While travelling in Japan after a few days in Tokyo, we headed for Hakone - a small town in the hills that is about 2 hours from Tokyo. Nestled in the mountains, it's a site with many natural hot springs - so is very popular for people visiting for the Onsen, and many Ryokan (we stayed at Yama No Chaya - and couldn't recommend it enough, incredible hospitality, great food, beautiful surroundings)
While my wife wanted to enjoy the luxuries of the hotel spa, I took a walk in the hills with the Fujifilm X-Pro2 and shot some long exposure images of the beautiful waterfalls in the surrounding area - using the variable ND that creates a surreal colour cast, just on 1 small 'sweet spot' - I found that the surreal, almost infra red look to these images to be quite mesmerising.
I will be selling fine art limited edition photographic prints of all of the images featured here - each will be signed, limited to 10 edition of 16x20 prints on fine art photo rag paper. Framed or unframed. If interested please drop me a message HERE and I will get back to you with pricing & delivery details.
